I found this very interesting to see that parents arrange a woman to be with two brothers. Knowing what goes into a marriage in the US, this is so different. I cannot even imagine being in a forced marriage let alone a marriage with brothers. It is so fascinating to see that this is also a passed down practice. It is hard to fathom the idea of being married to more than one man. It is also interesting how if one of the men split from the family, he does not receive anything custody wise, which in theory does make sense in my mind, at least in their dynamic. I think what would be hard is the cultural patterns placed on both the men and women that they must abid by these customs. I find it funny that they only do this method of marriage because it is to reduce the population, with no regard for the people it might actually be affecting. I thought it was interesting how they used sociological imagination to reflect on their lives, it was nice to see the theory in action. It makes you think about how different our lives could be if that was our culture and how that would change everything. I liked the way you structure yuor discussion into a great summary.
